He sighed, he couldn't trust her compliment, she must want something from him and he hated how his chest swelled with pride even as he knew it was likely false. "You win, but yes. We'll have to play again" he said curtly

Lillian was still there, but Meliodas, and simply waited for him to follow her order. She doubted he would disobey, as she was the head after all.

Envy nods and turning to the kid he asks in the same tone "Anywhere, in particular, you want to go there?" he internally winces at how harsh it sounds, he really should have been nicer, why couldn't he just be nicer? he thought to himself
