"...weird, huh?" Ben stated, fishing in his hoodie pocket for his phone. "It's kinda like electrons attracted to a proton..." The aloof boy stated, snapping a picture of the Virgo Cluster. "Except, the electrons were kept away from the proton their whole existence and only now they are reunited."

"I'm sorry what..?" Kolivan snapped, confused. Great. Not only am I stuck with the angry hobo who chased me, I'm stuck with a brain dead idiot, two nerds who can't watch their mouths, metal bra, and a freaking android whose our assigned den mother.

((I think the weirdest thing about this isn't the diversity of their personas, but more the fact that Ben and Aquaman are getting along))

"I'm just as confused as you are. And not just because this kid is talking about space." Dee stretched, then glanced back at Lucas. "I'm down. Anyone else want to come? I want to look around. I've read up a little stuff and I don't remember much, but there was a trophy room in the Hall. Maybe there's one here too."

"That reminds me. If heroes can be picked as replacements... can't the same thing happen with villains?" Chris wondered.

"That's precisely why we're here." Kai reminded him, looking ready to slap Chris, even for someone as docile as himself. "Do you not remember the extensive PowerPoint?"

"Not really," he replied with a shrug.

Kolivan leaned over to the Sarge. and whispered loudly, "I told you Power Point was borinnnnggg." "Boring, sir." Sanders quirked an eyebrow. "Ugghhhh, fine. I told you it was boring, sir." The younger male groaned, not liking his fun having been spoiled.

Ben nodded, "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I'm gonna go see if they have like, a super hero locker room or something. Test out the..." The boy trailed on on on with the aerodynamics of the fabled bat-a-rangs and the friction resistance of The Flash's suit, etc.

"Good idea Benjamin." Gail brightened up. "Why don't we test them out on him?" She jabbed a thumb at Kolivan, who squeaked in alarm.

Deanne didn't seem to really care when Gail said the words, but Lucas turned and gave the bird lady a look that said- wow, as if Chris hadn't said the word enough times in the last ten minutes.

"Harming your teammates is bad." Chris said, trying to sound disapproving but failing miserably because he didn't want to seem angry. "We need to work together."

"Inspirational." Lucas muttered.

"What's wrong with a bit fun? So what if you loose a few fingers, it's all a part of the learning experience." Gail shrugged, a small smile twisting on her lips. "It's quality team bonding with a twist, what can I say?"

Ben nearly dropped his phone, "Woah, what?" He cast the Sarge a nervous glance like 'help.'

Kolivan cowered behind Sanders, partially camoflagued. "I thought you were a pacifist not a sadist!"

Gail blinked, as if snapping out of it. "Ah, sorry, what?"

"Great, bird lady is actually bipolar. Her next mood is going to be crying on the floor. Bet." Lucas said, quirking his brow.

"It might have something to do with the surrounding environment and what the Sergeant said about our abilities having to be triggered somehow." Kai suggested, though he was also looking down the corridors. "Okay let's go find our rooms."

Gail shrugged, "Betting what? What exactly do you have to bet that I'll end up crying on these floors."

Lucas let out an annoyed sigh, turning to leave.

"He seems very easily provoked. I thin he's doing some breathing exercises at the moment," Deanne joked, running a hand through her slightly damp hair and then shaking it when she realized her hair was still slightly wet.

Kai frowned. "You know he can hear you and he might just turn and attack you."

"I'd win." The brunette said simply, though she was five feet tall and looked like she was ready to fall asleep. "Easy."

Sarge pocketed his radio. "Will all of you stop bickering for one moment please? We just received a report of a massacre down in the underground and all your jabbering made it hard to hear exactly where." The den mother stated plainly.

"Where?"

"Massacre? Did you actually say-"

"-what the actual frickle frackle I can't-"

"-actually say massacre?"

"Yes you idiot that's what he said."

"Massacre? Are you sure, or...?"

"Shut the up Kai we're trying to listen here!"

"Yeah but where?" Chris ended, looking confused.

"We don't know, apparently." Dee deadpanned.

"Well..." Lucas started.

"...let's go." Deanne said. "We're superheroes now. And I mean, heroes catch the bad guys right? So that's what we need to do."
