She clumsily jumps in the willow tree and drops the gem as lanna eats one of the mice her mate brought "interesting" she says as she sees the little mouse in the distance angrily squeaking

Once down on street level Link led the pack to their normal hunting spot, a large sink hole that served as a pond in the middle what was once a busy intersection. Grass sprouted from the edges of the watering place and a few trees as well as shrubs had sprang up over the years. The mutt skillfully crouched, ears pointed forward as he listened. "Alright, split up guys. Let's focus on smaller prey today, maybe we can get a larger one later." He said looking to each of the females in turn.
"Just my luck!" The large dog huffed looking back at the cut along his hind leg. It hurt, though that was what he got for trying to snag a piglet for a mother hog. Whimpering he hopped forward, keeping his bleeding paw off the ground. Hunger had taken its toll on him, his ribs showing through his thin fur, as well as making him too weak to hunt alone. It had started when he lost his right eye...it had taken forever to get over the injury and even then it was hard to adjust to the change of perception. Now he was slowly wasting away, getting one injury after another as he tried to hunt. This one though might as well be his death. Weakly the dog, called Nate made his way to the watering hole, at least there he wouldn't die of thirst...

Asha nodded. Ok! She said. She slowly wandered off, looking for something she could catch. She sat down when she was far enough out of sight. She looked at the injury she had gained from the lone wolf. She felt stupid for doing what she had done.

"I'm sure you do love, this is the only watering whole around for a good while. Everyone in this part of town uses it." Link said wagging his tail at her before trotting off in the opposite direction to see if he could find an easy meal.
Carefully the male dog laid down, taking extra care when cleaning his wound. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, in fact it was much better. The cut wasn't really all that deep, though with how weak he already was it made moving much too difficult. Sighing he laid his head down, closing his eye for a moment. Hopefully death would come soon, and would be quick to take him.

Asha saw a rabbit. She chased after it and caught it. She was about to return to her pack, holding her catch proudly. She saw a figure in the distance. Maybe its a wounded or resting deer. I bet if I brought it back to the pack.... she said to herself quietly. She giggled and walked slowly towards it. She stopped dead in her tracks when she realized it was another dog.

His eye opened slowly and he looked up. There was a greyish black dog standing not too far away from him now. By the smell of it they were female... If he hadn't been so eager to die he might have thought himself lucky to meet such a pretty being yet now his will had been broken, and he was just ready to give up entirely. Weakly he lowered his head again and closed his eye, licking his muzzle slightly. If they were here for a meal then they would certainly get one...
