You manage the hunting crouch, a little clumsily, but still got it. level 1 hunting. As you creep up on the mouse, you are forced to freeze uncomfortably as it sniffs the air around it. Soon it does back to scurrying around the underground.

Dusk crept closer until she felt she was at a good distance to Pounce. when she did she extended her claws in hopes she might have a chance

As you pounced, you landed just off the mouse, but could one of it's front paws. Squeaking in alarm, it desperately struggled to escape, pulling under your paw and flailing desperately.

Dusk Slapped her other paw atop it to keep it still as she pierced its skull with her incisors

Dusk ate quickly before laying down at the base of the tree her tail flicking as she listened to the sounds on the night

it was quiet, a hoot of an owl sounded and another bird scattered.

Dusk closed her eyes and listened hoping to soon fall asleep

The dream was a peaceful one she had had many times before, Dagger was teaching her how to smell for rain, the grass was cold and wet and the day was bright and sunny when she finally got it that first whiff of water in the air, her reward was ten minutes later when the rain came trickling down. she was so proud of herself and confident as such a small kit. its a shame she will never smell that lovely scent again, now it only resides in her dreams....
