Damen frowned, they just didn't seem to get it. He didn't want to be this way, separating himself from others. He didn't want to be lonely--but you can't trust everyone. And he was tired of getting hurt.

Winry leaned forward over the seat again. "Okay, you don't have to trust me, but can we at least settle on not-enemies?" she asked. She wasn't extremely interested in making friends since she didn't plan on being stuck here much longer, but having not-enemies might help her get out of here. Also she could use the company.
