You follow your manticore into the woods towards the smell. You reach a clearing were you find the source of the smell, a half rotten deer carcass.... how lovely...

I try to salvage the... Non-rotten side.

(I'll let you decide if attacking 10 fully armored guards with weapons is a good idea)
The guards that entered the cave finally came out with almost all of the items that you left inside. "Okay now we can take these back to the people they were stolen from." He then gave you a thankful nod before leading his men up a small path presumably towards his village. You are left standing there.

Using your knife you cut some of meat and wrap it in some wax paper you had in your bag. You then stab your knife into the ground to clean it of the blood. you put the meat in your bag and stand up.

My Manticore gives me cute eyes so decide to let her eat the rest of the meat on the deer.

As you watch your companion eat you think of what you should do next. Suddenly you hear a loud noise behind you. You jump to your feet and spin around but see nothing directly behind you.

You start to look for a place to rest and discover a small meadow covered in flowers. You walk over to a rock in the middle of the field and and drop all of your things. Your companion quickly comes over to you and flops down.
