I am looking at this from work right now... So the link might be hidden by the corporate firewall...
I doubt I can vote while at work, but is there any chance you could modify the top message of this thread to include the URL and link to vote?
That way even if the normal vote button is blocked via firewall or even accidentally by any ad-block add-on, new users can still find the link and vote.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. The link to vote for our Site creates an unique session id each time you access it. Since it changes each time, there's no way to provide a link that votes for you. You have to click the button on the apex page.

I was hoping to have some sort of simple link that would take me to the voting site and find Sylestia without having to hunt for it.
I have seen that behavior on various webcomic sites, and was hoping for the same in this case.
Not an auto-vote link or anything like that. Even the webcomic ones usually still require you to click the "vote" button and then enter a CAPTCHA; it just makes it much more convenient to actually find and vote for the appropriate entry.
But if it is impossible with Apex, then I guess it just can't be done. Thanks for checking!

Well, if you click the image in the original post of this thread it takes you right to the page with the giant "Vote" button. Simply clicking the green button votes for Sylestia automatically.

And I think that is what I was trying to comment about. My corporate firewall is blocking that image, so I don't even see the image you are talking about.

I should just give up on this topic I guess. If the firewall is blocking the banner image, then it will probably block the vote site as well.

I was just hoping that I would be able to help support the site; but since pretty much the only time I get to play is between procedures while here at work... It is just not in my power to help vote I guess. >,<

I'm not sure this is what you were looking for, but I think this is a link to the voting page. You still have to click on the button that says vote, so if you have issues doing that, don't know what I can do to help.

I have now set up vote tracking. Everyday, if you have not voted yet, a banner will appear at the top of every page in between the welcome and logout button.

Just simply click the banner and then click the big green "Vote" button on the new page. Upon doing so, 100 Advancement Points will be added to your account.

This can be done each and everyday.

This not only helps your account, but also this helps Sylestia grow. Thank you for your votes.


If you did not yet know, Advancement Points can currently be used to purchase Avatar Styles and Clothing in the Account Wardrobe. We plan on expanding the amount of uses for Advancement Points as time goes on. So AP is very important for progressing one's account.
