I love your backstory about your name though. It's quite fitting and unique. :)

But man I remember Neopets! That was my very first exposure to pet sims, and it was one I liked for a couple of year (especially during middle school). I remember making so many accounts, which I eventually deleted. My original first account got auto-deleted from inactivity though, but I still have some of the old linear saved in printouts. I too no longer play Neopets especially since it's no longer free to play and nothing seems to have changed from what I saw.

Oh geez that is a long time ago. Had I kept my first account, it would have been over 13 years old. xD

Mine was either a neopets or gaia 2nd account...I didn't want numbers at the end so basically just picked random consonants/vowels that worked and ended up with it o.O

My username is a creature from an episode of Doctor Who. Said episode was in the 5th season and was called "The Beast Below". The Starwhale was a gigantic cosmic whale that carried the futuristic city of spacefaring London on its back, but the humans were treating it badly to get it to go faster. Eventually Amy convinced London's captains to stop hurting the Starwhale and they all lived happily ever after.

Also, it's a pretty name. Because whales are pretty and stars are pretty. And I didn't know what to name my account and that was what came up.

Years ago I listened to an hour long song called Amarok by Mike Oldfield and thought it was the best. (Ommadawn is a heck of a lot nicer to listen to, though).

Then I found out that Amarok was actually a mythical wolf, so then I started using the name for everything, and now I've still got that habit.

My username has a long story...
I was eight when I got my first webkinz, at the time I didn't know how to type. My mom logged into Webkinz world for me and asked what I wanted my username to be, I told her I wanted it to be "Redfox"
she did a typo and my username ended up being "redfix" And that stuck so...yeah. That's how my username came to be.

Back in highschool I used to play WoW, but only on private servers (because I'm not paying 15 bucks a month, lol). There was one server I played on a lot, so much so that I decided to make a second account. I was struggling for a name before I finally threw in some random words; peachsoda. Over the years, that name morphed from "peach" to other random words, before it finally settled on "cloud". Sometimes I'll use "dreamsoda" if cloudsoda is (somehow) taken. :B
