Well, it's been a while sense the last update so I figured it was time for one.

So here is basically the rundown of how things have been lately:

I have been reasonably busy running errands and the like(my basic mother/family woman's deuties).

I got my glasses 4 days early so seeing things clearly finally is GREAT!!!

I have been doing my best to not over use my hand, and wrist. Though to be fair that is still proving to be challening due to everything I have to do in a day with my hand/wrist varies.

On the 6th though my hand was barely hurting at all so I did do a lot that I was wanting to do. I even managed to bleach and tone my own hair(over a 3 hour time frame, but I'm very pleased with the results. I now have very pale platinum blond hair(will hopefully have a pic soon). However next month my hair will be lavender purple as a tribute to my mom).

As of tomorrow(July 9th at 9am, for me) it will be exactly 2 weeks till my surgery appointment.

I'd like to say that yes, I'm still really scared about it, but I'm hopeful that this will fix a large portion of the pain/discomfort that I have dealt with on and off for months(if not years and just didn't notice it because of my chronic pain).

I've got an apointment with my primart dr. next month(august) and I plan on talking to him about alot of things. I want to bring up to him that my ballance/mobility is still being hindered by pain(my pain killers help some, but due to my body building a tolerance to Ibprophine[600mg] I'm not comfortable taking them more than twice a day at the absolute most. I'm going to see if he would like me to attend Physical Therapy. I have so few days now that I feel safe walking without some sort of assisting aid(cane, knee brace, ankle brace, or a combo of the three), and my ballance isn't as good as it could be unless I focuse intently on it. And when walking to do errands(as I don't have a car, and friends can't always give me a ride into town), you have to be very observent(one of the few times I dont have issues with my PTSD Hyper Vigalance)...especially with how stupid some of the dang drivers are in my town with not following the law, and making sure they won't/don't hot pedestrians. I'm hoping to gain the support of my Dr and a Physical Therapist so that I can get a wheel chair and/or forearm crutches which would greatly improve things for me mobility wise. My cane and braces are just not enough to really help anymore so I need to look toward getting things that will be more effective in improving my quality of life from a mobility stand point.

On a much brighter note though, I have decided on the breed for my next SDiT(Service Dog in Training). She will be a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix. I have even located a breeder that's located only two hours drive away from where I live that I plan to buy my pup from. Though this will be late next year, so I've got time to save up and make all the needed arrangements. Now, as some of you may know I have a little Chi puppy named Gwendolyn which was orrigionally going to be my SDiT(for psychiatric service work, to help me with my PTSD, and Panic Disorder), however while Gweny is a sweet girl and her personalty is great, I had to wash her out of service work due to her being so very hyper...and therefor making learning/teaching the tasks are nearly impossible. But she's being kept as a family pet.

My next SDiT will be a girl, that much I have decided on...but I still have no name picked out for her yet. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for in a name though the name that's sticking out to me lately is Faelynn. So name suggestions would be great.

I could honestly could use help getting a few things for my future pup too, but I'm not expecting to get any donations. HOWEVER IF anyone would like to inquior as to how you could help feel free to shot me a message. My future SDiT girl shouldn't weight more that 25lbs, but it's more than likely she will be between 20-23lbs so she will fit firmly within my weight limit for my lap(seeing as she will be sitting in my lap when I'm in my wheel chair. I do have a near compleated list on amazon that lists the supplies that I need/want to get for my next girl. I even included a few books that I feel would be very useful to me and help with the training process.

Anyhow sorry for the wall of text but I knew you all would want an update.

Yeah, I plan on having both a WC(wheelchair) and forearm crutches, I have actually already found the ones I need thanks to a friend of mine that is also a disabled mom that has both mobility assistance aids.

Would it be ok for me to PM you my amazon wishlist, as it is much better orginized that my handwritten list.

Sent you the PM.

Yeah, she's a great friend and has a wealth of info that she shares. She's also a fellow service dog owner/trainer so she knows alot in that topic too. Whenever I need some help she does her best to give me the info she has, or at least can point me in the right direction. ^.^ She was one of the first friends I made when I became a member of the SD community.

Glad to hear the good news about your glasses and your upcoming SDiT. I have a toy poodle I bought as an SDiT who washed out because he was too social and always wanted to make friends with everyone instead of helping me with my anxiety problems. He sure is a great little emotional support dog though and well worth the money and time I invested in him.

Thanks. I'll be waiting a bit still though, the breeder I'm buying from gives her girls lots of recovery time between litters to keep them in optimum health, which is awesome. Next fall(next year) is when the dames will be bred but gathering things ahead of time is such a good idea because time flies especially when you get busy. So I'm trying to make sure that I have everything or very close to everything my girl will need by the time she can come home.

Yay glasses and future puppy! Also I'm glad it's not too long to the surgery now that should help a lot once it's done, hopefully! *hug*
