Del drove to the hospital and waited for the police man to arrive. He placed his head on the steering wheel and let the tears freely flow. His body was wracked with sobs.


Kota said in a barely audible voice "I dont want to go..."

"Kota, but you're bleeding!" Alia reminded her friend.

Kota opened her eyes and stared directly at Alia "I dont want to leave her alone..."

"Who?" Alia was confused. Only Kota and herself were female. "Kota, who are you talking about?" Had the blood loss confused Kota?

Tears started dripping down Kota's face "I dont want to leave Dawn all alone..."

"Kota, Dawn is dead. You know that." Alia but her tongue. The word Dead hung in the air like a shroud of cold air. "You know that, I know that." Alia started feeling tears in her eyes and shook them away.

"it is just the grief and blood loss talking. Kota Dawn is sadly no longer with us. you and i both know this. i was there when she said her last words. she had said somthing about how she wished you were there and how lonly she had been for the last five years. please dont leave. the world can use with a little less death."

Kota slipped back into unconsciousness before she heard him speak. Her skin was paler then normal and her chest was barely moving.

Alia, noticing this change, held Kota's hand. "Hurry and GO," She yelled at no one in particular.

Kota felt Alia hold her hand but she was unable to respond.
