He nods, and gently takes her hand. His skin is almost uncannily soft, as always; like the skin of a newborn baby. Its a strange but pleasant feeling.

It was good to feel his hand around hers once more.

"Maybe you did, but your dad didn't care and ice-boy obviously wasn't just going to leave."

Even after so many years, its almost unbelievable that this is the same guy whos repeatedly saved her life. Of course, shes saved his life many times too, but she looks like the kind of person capable of doing that, while he looks as huggable as a teddy bear.
