"Sleep dart?" He repeated shifting back to his normal form as he hopped around, finally coming to a stop beside a tray.
Must be my bed, he thought laying it, his scales slowly turning from green to a grey that matched the tray.
He bit the corner of the tray, leaving faint teeth marks and purple goo. He looked pretty happy with himself.

Luke seemed amazing by him, but mostly because he was a creature.

D-H-3 seemed scared of that look.

He ruffled his wings, trying to get comfy. Finally he gave up and hopped out of the tray. He jumped around for a little bit, then finally got bored and just started to chew on the door bars, leaving bite marks and some more purple goo. His pads hummed thoughtfully.

"Weird little thing." He said. "Maybe...maybe you could cheer up D-H-3, she hasn't been acting well with us." He stood and unlocked his door.

Arlo stopped when he realized Luke had did something. He stepped back, pulling the door, it opened. He stared for a second, pushing it closed. He then pulled it back open. He seemed pleased with himself, his two tails wagging. Then he jumped on Luke, licking him in excitement. He flapped his wings a tiny bit.
"Hey hey hey," His pads vibrated violently.

He fell back, confused. "Woah woah waoh, B-4-D, let's introduce you." He said. He carefully stood, then opened D's door. She crooed and stood, but couldn't leave the cell.

Arlo stood up, balancing perfectly on two paws. He stepped forward, tilting his head a tiny bit. Then he walked into the cell, his two tails slithering behind him like two snakes. He placed a paw on D's arm, looking nervous.
"Hey! My name is Arlo! Who are you? I doubt your name is D-H-3," He realized she had something over mouth and placed all four of his paws on it, trying and failing to rip it off.

D's golden eyes watched him, but then she whimpered as he tried to rip her muzzle off. It was looped behind her head, bounded to her.

Luke walked in after Arlo, and closed the cell door behind him.

Arlo stopped, looking at it curiously. He poked it with a paw, wondering how to get it off. He turned to Luke, placing a paw on his shoulder.
"Take thing off so we can chat," He asked before sitting down, watching D with interest, he had never known anyone but his mother.

D's tail weakly thumped the ground, her chains clattering.

Luke shook his head. "It doesn't come off except for when she eats or when we test chemicals with her."
