She was right about that, and he certainly wasn't his usual self. Perhaps he wasn't running from locals, or perhaps he wasn't Temorin at all? Whose to say...

Hours went by, and Temorin said nothing. The horses were slowed to a trot about half way though the trip. Once they had reached their new destination, he spoke once more.
"My queen, look, the city of silver."
The city was called this because of its many silver and gem mines. The city was coated over with a glimmering clear shine, as it if was covered by crystal
