"Eh, about 2 years ago? He's an emporer penguin so he's supposed to live to 20, and Newt's not happy about that-we figured out he's allergic. And Nicote...well, he tolerates him-Oh perry, don't gobble the food dish!" she laughed.

" He is adorable " Evan said smiling. He truly enjoyed the small animal, and he loved to pet it's feathers.

Ema giggled. "Thanks. Oh! It's almost 10! You'd better get to your dorm before the monitors come-I had to bring Perry back in last night and I don't think the night monitor is very lenient-I got detention on Friday." she warned. "Night, Evan."

Evan sighed but nodded, sad to have had things cut short. He turned but looked back and said grinning " Good night, Ema, and sweet dreams. " Before he headed back to his dorm and to his bed but not before changing into sleeping wear.

Newt had managed to stop sneezing (after Nicote found a chunk of feathers in the corner).
Hearing Evan enter the room, Nicote poked his head out. "Did she mention crackers by any chance?"
Newt shook his head at Evan. please don't say yes please don't say yes..

Evan looked at Newt then back at Nicote " No, she hadn't mention crackers... why? "

Nicote brought out a bag full of torn cracker packets. "This is why-a certain penguin got into them." He glared at Nicote. "Or a lizeowl."

"Hey, Jaz doesn't really like to eat that many crackers." Newt protested.

" Oh, well then remind me to keep snacks high up and in cupboards. I don't want my snacks being eaten by anyone else but me. "

"Don't count on it with that penguin and that lizeowl around-they're nothing but trouble. Good night." Nicote retreated.
Newt nodded to Evan. "Don't take it personally-he never liked our pets even though his owl's more trouble then the penguin and the lezeowl put together. Just put snacks in those childlock containers and you'll be fine. Night, all."

" Good night you two. " Evan said before soon falling asleep himself, his dog curled up next to him.
