It suddenly starts to rain.

The rain feels... off. Too cold. Chrissy isn't bothered by it, but the hybrids are. And any humans who happen to have parts exposed to the rain.

the hybrids had thick enough hides to tank it, but the humans didnt like it. they began trying to capture Arachne and bring Chrissy down.

Arachne is too wounded to defend herself. However, each raindrop speeds up her healing process. As it does for any wounds Chrissy or other ethers have. Liquid magic is neat like that- acidic to the unwelcome and helpful to residents.

however, theyres a loophole the humans are exploiting. they must have given the monsters ether DNA, since its healing them as well.

Well that sucks. But Arachne can't stop the rain now. At least it'll still harm the humans.

suddenly, Chrissy had an idea. she kicked the monster away and asked, *Arachne! can i talk to animals?*

"If they're from Earth." She signs weakly.

she then walked over to the monster, mumbled, *please work,* and then roared at it.

all the hybrids stopped and stared at her. it was deathly quiet.
