She smiles at her. "Wren's alive."

" that sounds great. " She muttered, walking out the door.

"Wren is?"



The two knights bowed as she approached

She smiles and nods.

That made her slightly uncomfortable.

"How?"


Between the knights, almost hidden in the tall grass, a potato-faced gnome stepped forward and bent forward at the waist. "Liseolette Chase," he greeted in a surprisingly deep voice, stiff and formal like a butler. "Your father, Lord Oberon, sends his greetings."

"I'm not quite sure. My only guess is he got caught by sirens and they for some reason didn't eat him, because he made a deal with the current siren queen just a few hours earlier."

" ....why? "

"Hmm. How...peculiar."




The gnome cleared his throat. "Ahem. Well, as you know, princess, your father is at war with the Iron Kingdom. For the first time in centuries, we have created a mutual alliance with Queen Mab and the Winter Court." His gaze flicked to Ash before focusing on her again. "An army of Iron fey crouches at our doorstep, eager to taint our land and kill everyone in it. The situation has become most dire."

"Which, somewhat ironically, is the same siren who did all those protests back seven years ago. Which might make getting him back a bit.. difficult, noting the aftermath of that." Mab knows who Dealkeeper is talking about, since it's something she'd definitely remember at least vaguely, but it's been a while so she most likely doesn't know what this siren looks like.
