Before he could finish, the flame began to flicker, and then turn into a dark, black cloud of smoke. The guildmaster blinks in surprise. "Uhhh... you're also attuned to Shadow Magic...?"

It began to shift back and forth from fire to shadow, until the ball cracked and exploded in a dark, yet fiery cloud. Your eyes suddenly began to sting, and you were wracked with unimaginable pain. It was so intense that you blacked out.

You woke up in a bed. You look around the room and see that there is a desk, a mirror, and a table in the room. You try to get up, and you look at the mirror. Something seemed off with your reflection, though. You inspect your reflection more, and realize that your eyes were different.

One was purple, and the other red.

She shakes her head and says that yo were hit by Death Fog, a spell that kills anyone who breathes it in, unless they had a magical attunement to Light or Shadow! She says that you lucked out, since Light and Shadow attunements are very rare.

I nod slowly and sit up, glancing around.
