Rio looked down at the ground. The sand was moving, like sliding down deep into the ground itself.

"Oh! Let me look!" Jaden bounded over to the moving sand and stepped in it by mistake.

"Jaden! That's quick sand! Get you of there!" Rio shouted.

"I'm stuck!" Jaden was trying to pull himself free from the sinking sand.

Rio grabbed into Jaden's paw and pulled him.

Flit provided a bit of extra push from behind. "Just... a little... more...!" She said, wings beating rapidly.

Hummer gently lowered Venus onto the ground. Danny looked nervous. "Do you think you can chase her off?"

"I can put her to sleep" Venus said "But if you'll have to get upwind of her to do that" Venus told her.

Jaden was feeling some of the sand loosen up.

Rio felt Jaden getting lighter as he was pulled free from the quick sand.

"That was close, thanks guys!" Jaden looked at Rio and Flit.

Once they got upwind, Venus focused as hard as she could, as she now couldn't smell the exact location, so she had to trust in her other senses, her hearing wasn't exactly as good as her sense of smell, but it worked just as well. She released the sleep spores into the air, hoping it would reach the intended target.

The Skyarmoy let out a loud cry before swooping down, talons extended. Hummer flew up, Dragon Claw at the ready. "I keep her occupied!"
