Lint and Kall hurried outside, fangs bared and claws unsheathed. Seeing Claudio fallen, Kall managed a round about the female bear, running under her legs and around her to help Claudio get up before she realised what was going on. Lint knew they would need help, but Kall told her to stay back. She wouldn't be able to fight with a stomach like that.

"You left your own cubs to die!" The female bear growled. "And I am not the reason my mother died. You were foolish and should have known better. My brother is dead because you left us behind." The female bear sat down and cried. "I tried to tell myself that you would come back for us but I knew deep down I would probably never see you again. But now here I am fighting because I blame you and now I know we blame each other."

Lint and Kall were confused, and after helping Claudio up Kall slowly backed up towards Lint. "What's going on here?" Lint whispered.

"That bear is my daughter!" Claudio growled. "And the reason I believe that my mate is dead." The female bear cried.

"You left us to die didn't you?" The female bear cried. "You didn't even name us so we gave ourselves names. But my brother didn't last long all that I have left is myself and you father."

Kall said "Lint, we should back out of this." and put his hand around her, leading her inside the cave. She groaned, and Kall knew she would be in labor soon.

Claudio hugged the female bear and they made up.

Lint and Kall were crying in the cave, but you could tell it was tears of happiness. "2 girls, 2 boys" Kall whispered to Lint as he hugged the crying pups. Giving them to Lint, she nursed them as Kall took blankets from the spare room to put them in.

Claudio came into the cave. His daughter followed.

Lint had fallen asleep nursing the kids and Kall had put the pups in blankets and fallen asleep curled around them and Lint.

"I am sorry I left you." Claudio said. "I want you to read this." He took out a worn book.
