" Hes been gone for awhile. If he cared he would be here. "

"But hes been around longer than me and might know more about whats happening to you. The least we can do is ask."

"If were going to find Goodfellow, we should get started now. If hes hiding, or if he doesnt want to be found, we could be searching awhile."

she nods.

Dealkeeper is staring at Isiea silently. She looks as if shes resisting the urge to hit her.

In the end, Puck found them.

The woods surrounding the cabin were sprawling and vast, mostly pine and big, shaggy trees with furry trunks. Ferns and pine needles littered the forest floor; the air was cool and smelled of sap.

Ash slipped through the woods like a ghost, following some invisible path, keen hunter instincts showing the way. As they hiked, they had to duck branches and scramble over needle-covered rocks.




Well...yeah. Ria was honestly surprised that Isiea hadn't burst into flames yet.

Lise liked the hike, for the most part. Not the bugs though. She was slowly growing less and less fond of bugs.
