The darker purple actually looks better. Thank you.

I think I'll let it sit for a while now. I know that from writing. When you tweaked something a lot and got a lot of input, you have to let it sit for a while, before you can make decisions about it again.

In other news: Look what I just hatched! I love him! He carries Fairy Wings too.

Mohya, sitting on it is a great idea. I say this as the person who has re-worked her idea until she can't understand it anymore. Oy.

I adore your new hatched boy, what a wonderful combination. The blue against the orange is just lovely.

How's things in the VV world?

How are the projects tootling along? I've seen some great little (and big) Vorps in my hatchery travels.

I've had this cutie hatch in my Water Snake project (totally nothing to do with my actual project design :P):

I've also been trying to tie down a concrete design for the Sugar Plum Vorp project. I'm leaning towards something like this:

My Spring design has gone splat. I have no idea anymore! A the moment it looks like this:

I'm tempted to go with something based on Easter Egg painting: (Which is similar to Frawn's Tie Dye?)

(ETA: Looking back, it looks like I sub-consciously copied Spelf's. Oops.)

Well, Celuwen... I'm just pushing on with my Emperors. With no ambition towards anything but breeding out my projects right now, I'm not spending tons of time online here. It's starting to get a little frustrating just waiting on "the one" to hatch.

Another month at least until the next festival, and I'm dreading the interim. >.<

I have been thinking about some kind of forum game I could host for us here in the VV! thread, though. Maybe one of these days I'll get the required gumption.

Your sugar plum project looks great!

And I like the idea of an easter egg design. Maybe you could just take the yellow out and use some more violets and blues or something so it doesn't look so much like Spelf's? I think it's the yellow, that makes them look alike.

Frawn, I know what you mean. I'm similarly feeling like I'm practically sat on the eggs at this point. I imagine being so close to your Emperor goals it's even more of a drag. You're Emps are really being pests at this point, I've seen a few 5-vis (with the carries on different slots) wave as I've nurtured.

I love your Emperor gal:
Is she part of a new project?

Also your Cool Night boy:
He's a handsome chap. I do love how you work in the less popular traits, on themes that make them zing.

I'd be up for a VV game! Everyone is partly-afk until the fest, I think. Not that I blame them; It is the best time to hoard/collect gold/items. So if you need any help, gimme a poke.

Aww, thank you. :) The Sugarplum idea is partially VV inspired.

You could be right about the yellow colour. I've been trying to avoid blue, because Vorps have three blue-based themes already. Plus two pinky ones. Purple might work. Or Aqua/Jade rather than grass greens. Ooh. Thanks for the feedback as always, you're a superstar.

How are you getting on with your Spring Vorp design?

Your Sunsong Gazania project looks fab. Lucky Runes is surprisingly lovely on SG. I know it works better with lighter C3 colours, but that yellow is one of the best I've seen.

Are you working on a Lochness and Pud project? I can set up mine for you, if you like. I'm not doing much with them right now. (My Pud boy is still set up for you, I think).

Hi, Celuwen. The bright yellow is definitely the most important aspect of my Spring design. I looked at all the Sylvorpa Themes that exist and saw a lack.

And I think Mohya is right; it's the bright yellow Color One, combined with the cyan Eye Color, that makes your design resemble "Flower Power." Maybe you could make yours distinct by swapping your Color One and Color Three? Just a thought. That would make the dominant color a light, new-leaf green, which is also lacking among Sylvorpa Themes, and then the similar Eye Colors really wouldn't matter.

Frawn, Ebrajen is a raving beauty! And I'm glad the Cool Nights are working so well for you (I feel a bit smug, having provided a couple of them!)

Personally, I'm waiting on a number of pets to grow up. Here's a couple of them--

Little Argo has his mother Cyane's Lotus Lights Hidden under that Iridescence.

In addition to his other traits, Calvin has Carried Fairy Wings.

Oh, and here are the two most recent eggs from the "Statsong" project--

I hope the easter egg design works out for you. Other green tones sound like a good idea.

I'm still sitting on my design ;-) I had to be creative for my job a lot recently, so there wasn't much creativity left for designing.

Thank you. I especially like how runes in general work with the Poison Dart genes with the Sunsong theme.

Yes, I'm working on Lochness and Puds. I'm doing a lot of 6vis projects. With the Lochness it's just the general goal of a 6vis. With the Puds I'm trying for something like this (some genes may vary).

Or this

I think, I have all the traits I need. But thank you for the offer.

Thanks for noticing my little rascals, Celuwen! I can't take much credit for the Cool Night ones though, since SpaceElf did get me started on my first breeding pair. ^.^

Ebrajen, however... I threw a breeder in the mix a few months back who carried Mystic Head Fins (Mimeau), and it finally came to the surface. I'm not sure how useful she'll be to my 6-vis project, but there were some other traits with which I was interested in trying to pair those head fins eventually.

Oh! And I have some Emperors with carried Fairy Wings as well... I really like them with Naga Armor (go figure), and am working towards getting both of those traits visible. Let me know if you wanna do some mingling, SpaceElf. ^.^
