He held her in his fluffy chest fur, just as he had with baby Clair. His precious little sister, the one truly living family member he had left, who was now all grown up.

He closed his eyes and stroked her tummy gently, glad for the small motion from the kitty Akira. It made him feel a bit better by the slightest.
