NightbaneWolf, congrats on the major achievement! The first official 6-vis is a wonderful thing, and we Vorp lovers are on catch-up.
Moyha, *commiseration hug*. It's not the easiest thing to come in close second, but you make it stylish and fab.
I look forward to seeing the SG babies!
Moomookins, Vorpa art? Ooh! I can't wait to see more. I love your starter gal. :)
The last event was fairly low-key for us VVs, but Spring is around the corner. I've been tweaking my designs. (Mostly thanks to my gal Frawn), hopefully I'll have a Spring-worthy idea at the end of it.
I loved the interaction of the Moyha's design and Spelf's tweaks. Spelf's additions lifted Moyha's design wonderfully, but it felt like it might have lost the overall idea. (All of this is in my mind, btw!) I merged it all into this:

So here's my Spring design: Phoenix Sylvorpa
Basically, Spring renewal is akin to phoenix regeneration. Greys are ashes, reds/oranges/yellows are new fire.
The latter two images are all of my least favourite Vorp traits. I kinda still dig this design. Please poke me with critical feedback, I want to make a design we all (mostly) love.
(With many + lots thanks to Frawn)

Thank you for your input. I kind of like yellow as the eye color. I looks especially great with the fairy traits, because it makes the the end points of the wings and the crown glow golden like stamens full of pollen. I'm still trying different variations and moving colors around though. My last try looks like this. But I don't know, if it's getting better or worse.

Your design looks great! But maybe you could try making the reds and oranges a bit brighter? It doesn't quite look like fire yet (except for the one with the lotus traits).

I think the design is definitely improving as you go along, Mohya. Currently, I think my only concern is the light blue. Is it intended to make the viewer think of snow or of flower petals?
Here's my current design to submit for a Spring Sylvorpa. Not sure what to call it yet.
Thoughts?

It's supposed to be part of the snow. I can't have two white genes, because they'd just blend together, but only one white gene ist not enough snow in my opinion. Maybe I could make it an even lighter blue.
I like your design. The last pair looks kind of hippielike. You could call them Flower Power Sylvorpas.

That's not a bad name, Mohya.
As for your Gene Two color, right now it is a very pale cyan, #befafa. Perhaps you could go paler without robbing it of all tint by switching to a very pale pure blue, like e0e0ff. Just a thought--

Mohya, glow golden like stamens full of pollen is beautiful imagery. Lovely wording. I know what you mean about wondering if you're making it better or worse! I've reached the same point with my design. (Thank you so much for the feedback!)
Perhaps switching the darker green and the snow highlight on C2/C3?
Switching the purples might give a better contrast against the snows/yellows? So the dark purple goes to M1 and the lighter one to M3:
Though looking at that, you do lose the contrast on the M3 designs. Hmm.
Maybe sticking to the darker purple overall?
