Ares obviously didn't like it.

Paul continued to play.

Isiea shivers with cold, but continues into the main room, because they can both hear the TV blaring and there's obviously someone in there.

The days settled into a safe, if not comfortable, routine. At dawn, before the sunlight touched the forest floor, she would go(or get dragged) out to the little clearing to practice sword drills with Ash. He was a patient yet strict teacher, pushing her to stretch beyond my comfort zone and fight like she meant to kill him. He taught her defense, how to dance around an enemy without getting hit, how to turn her opponents energy against them.

Huh. I wonder why it's so cold....

She honestly did the very best she could at the moment. She pushed herself, knowing she had to do this so she could protect herself, not be protected.

Sitting on the couch is an amber-eyed, very human-like unseelie. The only way either of them even know she's not human is because of her creepy amber eyes and unnaturally long fingers.

Afternoons were spent however she wanted, and getting her father to remember was a slow and painful process. His moments of lucidity were few and far between, and he didnt recognize her half the time. Most of the days progressed with him playing the piano. Sometimes Ash was there, lying on the couch reading a book; sometimes he disappeared into the forest for hours at a time.

Despite that, she still had hope his memories would...eventually come back. She wasn't going to give up, not that easily.

Well, Ares didn't like it anyway. The last time he was with the Unseelie, well...it wasn't great.

One day, however, he came back and handed Lise a large, leather-bound book.
