"Then whose would it be?"

"Mine. I was the one who obviously needs to get out more, if we live," he murmured. "I didn't know what a hotdog was for goodness sake."

"We'll make it. I'm sure we will!" Lilura says, scooting over to give Casey a hug.

Casey was tense for a moment before giving in and hugging her back. "You're too optimistic. I've never heard of anyone ever making it out alive."

(I'm sorry but can I say that I ship them so hard? xD)

"And yet, we did last time!" Lilura says smiling brightly. If Casey wouldn't look on the bright side, she would.

"Yeah, barely." He didn't exactly understand how she could look on the bright side of things at all times. Suddenly, his ropes slid off his wrists, but his wrists were bleeding from getting the rope loose. He didn't notice the pain, however. It was a trivial thing compared to getting his wrists free

"Well... Maybe we'll be lucky this time too! ... What really happens here on a regular basis?" Lilura asks, since she didn't really have any time in the prison before being set free. And that had definitely not been a regular occurrence. Then she realizes his wrists were bleeding.
"That doesn't look good." She notes, trying to remember the basic first aid to help.

"I'm fine. This is nothing compared to what they do to you here. It depends on each Intuitive. They have different torturing techniques." He began to work on her ropes, trying to untie them

"Hehe, mine is more of a curse. They could leave me in a room and watch me try to get around without tripping all over the place." Lilura says sarcastically before yawning, fatigue catching up to her.

Casey quickly removes her rope. "I don't think your clumsiness is a curse, especially when I'm the one who gets to catch you." Apparently his brain wasn't sure whether to be sarcastic or not
