"But don't you have parents? I mean...you're royal..."

" Dead, both of them.. when I was born. A man kindly raised me.. " Evan said, surprised another knew he was royal without him saying so.

Ema finally remembered. "Oh yeah...Now I remember reading about it in our archives. I'm so sorry...Our dad recently was killed in battle too....You know, Central has always been on good terms with Southern. You're welcome to "adopt" us as a family if you want-I mean, I know you come from Central but still, at least if anything happens...." Ema sugggested.

Patrion sighed. Sometimes, fate does seem cruel. But later, it could come to your advantage. The fact that I have no relatives keeps my directive focused. The closest thing I have to a brother is Araithion, and I'm sure you know he isn't the most like me. Azurian nodded quietly. It's not the best thing to experience, but Patrion is right. Pain of loss can help build you up.

"If that's so, then I'm having the time of my life." Nicote grumbled. He stood up and stalked out of the room.

Evan smiled weakly, a happy smile across his features. " That would make me very happy, Madam. It would be an honor, truly it would be. " He said with great joy, wanting nothing more then to call someone his family.

Ema smiled. "Then welcome to the family, brother."

Newt blinked. "Um...what did I miss? And what's up with Nicote storming out? We were just about to roll out our greatest hits..."

His smile only grew with that " Thank you greatly, sister. " He spoke in a warm gentle tone. He was incredibly happy.
