The angel suddenly looks at him. The moment her gaze falls on him, its as if everything else in existence melts away- only the angel remaining in reality. Its a paralyzing, terrifying feeling. For a long moment, she just stares. Then she looks away dismissively and the feeling fades.

The language shes speaking isnt English. Its a very smooth-sounding language; like verbal silk.

From the sound of it, the angel is speaking to each ether in turn, from furthest to closest; the strix first, then kenindrae, and so on. Though the angel speaks with tones of mild amusement and slight condescending tones, none of the other ethers sound like they enjoy the conversation.
