She just keeps petting him.

He smiled grimly and continued to stalk. "I would love to teach you properly, from the beginning, but that takes years, centuries, even. And since we dont have that kind of time, Im giving you the condensed version. Besides, the best way to learn is by doing." He jabbed at her with his sword, nowhere near coming close. "Now, try to hit me. And dont hold back."



He let her, eventually calming as well

She gets out of bed, stretches, and heads downstairs, to read some more. She leads Ares with her, because hes being super cute and she wants to pet him while reading.

He happily goes long with her.

She sighs. " okay. " she came towards him with the sword and tried swinging towards him.

(Her hands wrists and arms are about to go brrrr)

She heads to the library, goes and gets the law book, then settles down in a corner, petting Ares.

(Not exactly, but yeah xD)

Ash slid aside. In the space of a blink, his sword licked out, slapping her ribs with the flat of the blade. She could feel the bite of absolute cold through her shirt, and it kind of hurt.



Ares sits on the floor.

(If she hits his sword they'll go brrr)

She winced slightly but didn't give up and swung at him again.

(There ya go)

For the rest of the morning, they practiced. Or, more accurately, she tried to hit Ash and received more swats that stung and burned their way through her clothes. He didnt do it every time, and he never once cut her.
