A flash of fluorescent blue from underneath your feet catches your eye, you take another step before turning back to investigate. Deciding that you might already be doomed you reach out to touch it. As if by magic the entire cave lights up with the same fluorescent blue light. You now find that there's a massive cavern of some kind in front of you that you couldn't previously see.
He hums thoughtfully and springs up still holding his stick. He nods down the road and motions for you to follow. He seems to be coming with you whether or not you want him to.
"There's a rather nice Inn this way, if you'd like to stay there!"
You run your fingers along the wall, carefully tracing every little imperfection that it has to offer. However nothing seems to be particularly suspicious. Marble whines again and leaps across onto your shoulder, her gaze never leaving the wall.
You walk through the town and find Xavier leaning against the wall outside his shop. As you approach he looks up and smiles. His tiny companion circles his head a few times before stopping on top of one of his shoulders. It looks at you, a mischievous glint in its eyes.
You sit down cross legged and slowly eat the food. The creatures in the background growl softly and bunch together as a protective sort of measure. They don't appear to be afraid of you though... It was something or someone else spooking them...
You place your hand against the side of the cave hoping that you wouldn't be able to get lost if you followed the wall. After walking a few hundred metres you find that your surrounding are being lit up by a lone torch. Your eyes drift around until they land on a dragon like beast crouched in the darkness. It creates a distressed noise before lunging towards you.
What should you do?

You walk along the bridge, careful staying in the middle just in case something began to collapse. The ground you were walking on didn't convey the overall stable feel, being that your feet often broke large chunks of bricks off. As you walked further and further you began to wonder if this bridge ever ended.
