Soon, he drains the pot and puts the now darker-colored plant aside. He then cuts the meat into fine, neat strips, puts them on a pan, and starts cooking them. They don't smell nearly as bad when they're cooking, and smell strangely like fish despite looking nothing like it.

She went up to the loft, sitting down on the bed and burying her face in her hands.

Soon, the meat is finished. he sets the tiny, paper-thin strips on top of the garlic-smelling plant, then uses a second, non-cooked strip of the plant to bundle it into a little package of tiny meat-strips. He then puts this strange yet pleasant-smelling meal on a plate.

I wouldn't blame her.


They made no move to stop him.

It smells super tasty. Whatever it is, he starts eating it like how somebody might eat a sandwich or taco.

She just silently lays down on the bed, curling in on herself.

They're all staring at him now.



Eventually, the piano music stops.

She doesn't move.
