I skirted around them, not wanting to get in a fight. I walk until I find something of interest.

You don't much of interest, but you do find tracks of people.

I nod "of course" and lead the way in search of more tracks.

You don't find anymore tracks. You could try fishing at the lake though.

There were some chirps from small birds, but no caw from a raven or crow.
