I leave the smithy and fly over to the training ground, wondering if Vermilion was still there.

You see Vermilion by the rack of swords.

"Yeah, there are." He opens his hands, palms towards the ground and mutters something under his breath. A small green shoot appears, rapidly growing until it resembled a pair of black claws. Thorns dotted the thick stem and a shiny red seed sat nestled in the middle.

"That seems like a useful skill to have," I say. "Even though those look poisonous..."

"Only to reptiles." He plucks out the seed, tossing it towards a snake that was sneaking up behind you. It keels over, dead.

"Yeah, what about it?" He picks up a thin, silver sword before shaking his head and placing it back.

I prod the snake. "Interesting. Are the thorns and stem poisonous, or is it only the seed?"

"Only the seed," He answers.

"I saw blood and a dungeon wall. Then I tried to look into his future again and there was this shadow with red eyes and sharp teeth telling Devastation to kill someone, a her, for them. Devastation said no and breathed fire at it and the shadows said kill her before the vision went away. The end."

"I didn't know that plants could be so interesting," I poke the Dragon Claws.
