Cyrilla rolled up the map, "I hoped you would choose that. I have a friend who will join you as an ambassador on your quest. She's from The Arctic Providence, so she should be a great help. Essex, come meet Crystal."
Another girl, wearing a dulled uniform strode into the room. Giving you a calm glance, she met Cyrilla's gaze.
"Cyrilla?" Essex asked.
"Essex, this is Crystal. She's the adventurer I chose," Cyrilla explained. "I want you to take her across The Arctic Providence and see if you can find anything useful."
Essex dipped her head, "Of course."

For some reason, you doubted that statement entirely, but before you could say anything, Ceridwen gestured another arm. "The Dragon Isles is a fine land. What direction do you want to explore first? You're the adventurer after all..."

Wylli peers across the dusty table, meeting Cyrilla's eyes. "Cyrilla, are you sure Eukaryaean's equipped to do this? She does appear to be quite inexperienced... not offense, Eukaryaean."
Cyrilla shook her head, "Wylli, I understand your concern. But this has to be done. If another life is lost... so be it."
Wylli glared, "How can you be so calm about this!"

Cyrilla pulled a piece of parchment from her hand and spread it out on the table. "As far as we know, there are six rifts. At least, these are the ones that Jacyn discovered. He's only spent a week on this, so there's probably more."
The names of six places are bolded on the map.
The Arctic Province
The Oracle Realm
The Dragon Isles
The Sapphire Territory
The Undying Fields
The Deserted Valley
Cyrilla flattened the map, "You can choose any to explore. Which one do you want?"
