He's starting to feel cold. Not just chilly-like he's freezing. If not for the fact it's just a sensation, his breath would likely be making clouds.

He began shivering and called out, *Rino! Are you ok?*

His vision is blurring and his ears are ringing. Though he doesn't feel like he's dying, it's definitely not a comfortable feeling.

He held the knife up, and yelled, *whatever you are, show yourself! Coward!*

He glimpses something dark move out of the corner of his eye. By now, his ears are ringing so much he can't hear anything, and yet despite that he could've sworn he heard a giggle.

He spun to the dark thing and let out a guttural scream at it, almost a roar.

As soon as he turns to it, it vanishes. Then he sees it again, once again at the corner of his vision.

His eyes began tracking it, before he lunged at it and swung the knife at it.

It vanishes again. All he stabs is the air. This time, he definitely hears it giggle.

He then tried a different tactic and pulled up a chair, sitting down and looking bored.
