Cartana nodded, quickly taking off Xolia's nightwear and replacing it with the fine ballgown picked out before hand. She placed beautiful jewels to decorate Xolia, and a tiara to adorn her head. She had given Xolia flats that were comfortable, stylish, and functional.
"Alright your majesty, I believe you are prepared."

" Thank you. " She said softly. " Let us go meet up with the prince. "

Cantana nodded with her usual bright and busy smile. She lead the princess down several halls until they reached the doorway to the stables, at which point Cantana left.

The prince was just behind the door, stroking his most prized and beloved horse, Saragon. He was humming a small tune, his eyes peacefully shut. His forehead was perched on the horses'. Saragon was already in his elegant gear, ready to parade the two royals into the village.

Xolia gave a thankful nod to Cantana before continuing into the stables.

Temorin heard Cantana's footsteps and cleared his throat, hoping he was not caught in his small moment of nostalgic vulnerability. He had been thinking over a few memories before he was interrupted.

Mino went back to his business, tightening a few straps and making sure everything they might need was packed. He was well dressed and prepared to leave, simply waiting on Xolia.

Xolia approached Temorin. " Are we ready to depart, your highness? " she asked him.

"Yes." Was his simple reply as he mounted his beloved steed. His arm stretched out to Xolia, offering his assistance in mounting. He had decided earlier that she would be riding behind him.
"We must make hate if we wish to arrive on time."

She nodded, and took his hand in mounting the horse. She carefully slipped on beside him, not even minding the position.

Temorin adjusted a bit, whispering something foreign into his horses ear. Without hesitation, the Saragon began to trot.
"Good girl." He said with a pat, looking ahead.

She didn't say a single word the entire time, simply keeping her place on the horse, similar to a decoration. Yes, that was an accurate comparison. A decoration.

As Xolia thought of herself like that, she smiled softly. A genuine smile, one of the firsts shes had in years.
