Eva nodded storing the information. Maybe later she could wheedle the twins into coming. Wouldn't that be excited from their dull lack of excitement. Natalie nodded quite glad to continue to tour. "That sounds like a good idea." she said with a grin. She turned to Lionel. "Are you coming?"

Lionel nodded with a slight smile, " Sure, I am done with what I have to do here. " He said, and Scarlet soon led them out of the marketplace into the deeper parts of town, pointing out some important area.. and, she for some reason avoided the police stations.

Nathaniel looked around noting the sights. Natalie followed then asked curiously. "Does New york have some type of law enforcement." she said trying to broach the question carefully without being too suspicious.

Lionel tensed at the mere mention of the police, he seemed more then a little angered about it being mentioned. Scarlet sighed but remained as calm as possible, " Well, yes, but Lionel doesn't exactly like the police.. "

Nathaniel tensed looking up. Natalie gave nathaniel a look then turned to give Scarlet and Lionel a thinking stair. Eva caught on. "Would you like to tell us why." She asked.

" They left my father to die and didn't arrest his killer. " Lionel barked a little aggressively, he seemed much more.. different.. then his calm, collected self. Though that was just one of the reasons he hated the boys in blue, it was one of the first that came to mind.. Second was that he was a criminal in a big mob and could be jailed for it. Scarlet though said something a little strange, " He.. doesn't like being around anyone like the police, he thinks they are soft and easily frightened when seeing something horrible or gruesome. "

Nathaniel made a face. "Isn't that their entire point in life." He said. He suddenly felt a lot more unsure of the place and subconsiously checked to make sure he still had his sword. Natalie narrowed her eyes. "Well in that case, they do stink, if they can't stand something a little gross, then they don't deserve it." Eva was the only one to respond to Lionel's comment. "Well that's terrible, leaving someone to die and then not bringing justice, that's the worst."

Scarlet sighed softly, " I guess, but he has his reasons. Most of the people in the bar don't exactly like the cops. Probably because of all the drinking that goes on in there.. and the fan girls. ( Original meaning for fan girl was a woman whom danced with fans barely clothed for the viewing pleasure of men. ) " The answer seemed suspicious as a bar had nothing to worry about if licensed.. and the licensed was on display at the bartenders area. Something just didn't seem right about them. Lionel just sighed, " I agree, that's why good fellas like me exist.. " And then, Lionel froze mentally.. a good fella was a term for a gangster.

"Hmmmph." Nathaniel said eyeing the two of them. Then bluntly he asked. "What's going on." Natalie looked up seeing what they would say. Eva shook her head, she wondered the same thing but she would never just ask like that. "And I'm the one you call asking bad questions." she muttered under her breath.

" Nothin' is going on, just a tour by probably the most wanted person in- " Scarlet looked like she mught kill Lionel... and Lionel remembered who they were with. " Oh nuts.. " Lionel said, " Me and my big, giant, gargantuan mouth.. " Scarlet tried to fix this by saying, " Most wanted batchloer in town, Lionel might of flirted with the sheriffs wife a time or two.. " she said with a nervous laugh.
