Jackson huffed, and shot. One of his arrows went wide. "Let's see if you can beat that."

Ashia's arrows were all tightly grouped in the center of the bulleye, "Clear!"
Justin ran to the targets and reported back, "Ashia's are in the middle of the bullseye and Jackson's four arrows are the same way and his fith is in the one ring. Want me to pull it back to a hundred yards?"
"A thousand would be preferable but a hundred works for this match," Ashia started walking toward the target.

Jackson looked at Ashia with a tiny bit of awe. "Sure." He grabbed his arrows, and then went back to the marker.

Sparky quietly noted how deadly her aim was, and continued the conversation with Brandon.

Hazel was sitting quietly near the place, watching both of the contestants with a pondering look on her face.

Justin signed to Brandon after moving the target to a hundred yards, "Why do you think I have her for my partner?"
"Want me to go first or you," Ashia asked after grabbing her arrows.

Orin watched on a branch above them.
Shield and the bay mare were teathered out of the way.

'Good aim. Great fire-y spirit, and a determined attitude? That's just a few, I know." Brandon signed back.

Sparky sat silent on his branch, so it surprised everyone when he just yelled, "You know what? I can just work for until you have a hundred dollars, and then we'll call it fine. I can do whatever, it's just...you can feed them, right? Because I can hear Hazel's stomach growl from over here."

"Just because you have heightened hearing, Stormcloud." Hazel yelled to him.

"Thanks for reminding me," Sparky mumbled. Brandon patted Sparky's shoulder in a friendly way.

Jackson thought this over.

(Should he agree? Jackson would be calling it quits in a way, but he would be gaining a worker instead of being humiliated by a 'child' as he said.)

(Either one works for me but I still plan on showing Ashia off a little.)

"I'll go first then," Ashia rapidly fired her arrows into the center of the bullseye.

"Watch and find out another reason,' Justin signed back.

"After this how about we increase it to say a thousand yards," Ashia suggested.

"Agreed. Sparky, if she gets the extra thousand yards, I'll just say I accept your challenge." Jackson shot his arrows.

Sparky shifted nervously.

"Clear!" Ashia walks toward the target her arrows were a little more spaced out but still in the center.
"A thousand yards it is," Justin moves the target after Ashia and Jackson collect their arrows.

(Only reasons she calls that is to make sure no other archers in the area are shooting at that molment. She also should be calling it before they shoot to make sure no one is down range.)

(I did archery for a while, but...well, let's just say I'm not the best shot. :p)

Jackson shoots his arrows. He did not do that well. As Jackson shifted to wait for Ashia to shoot, Sparky nearly jumped down from his branch and pin the bear bond down.

Justin noticed the movement, "Calm down Sparky Ashia won't miss."

Repeating her process Ashia got three out of five arrows in the bulleye and the othet two in the nine and eight ring.
