She touches her nose.

She bats at her hand, purring.

He opened his eyes slightly annoyed, but soon smiled as he saw the animal. He went and pat it's head. "What are you doing here so late?" He asked while he continued to pet it. The smile was still on his face.

It licks him again.

She taps it again.

She purrs.

He continued to rub the animal even after he closed his eyes. His movements grew slow due to how tired he was getting. He wasn't very bothered by the licks.

It hops onto the bed and cuddles him.

Evan grinned as she took her jacket, glad that he had likely prevented her from getting a cold. For some reason this place was kept ice cold- more so in the winter he had noted some time ago. He disliked the cold sometimes but he would deal with it for Revilla's sake, rather himself sick then her. Watching her for a moment, not intently but watching her movements making sure she wouldn't trip or anything though it was near impossible. When she thanked him, he only smiled softly " Not a problem dear, wouldn't want you to get sick. " The way he said dear was no endearing, he said it to almost every girl and was quite comfortable saying such things. For some reason he hated sickness, no one bothered to ask him why but he didn't mind it all too much. " It was a horrid sound.. but imaging such things must be horrible for you. " He replied, his arms now crossed over his broad chest. Silently he listened to her speak, the sadness in his eyes no longer being hidden from her. " Oh Revilla.. I am horribly sorry. I wish I could of been there to help you in some way.. No one should suffer alone. If I could remove that burden from you I would do it in a heartbeat. Not a second thought to it either. I would of been there for you if you had requested me beside you. " He said softly again, wishing to hold her hand but refusing to scare her. He knew bits of her past and wouldn't let her relive them due to his stupidity. " I will visit next time, I promise you it. "

He got himself in a position that would allow him to snuggle the animal but it would still be able to leave if it wanted. He loved the animal because it was helping to calm him; and it's warm fur. He felt like he could just fall asleep at any moment.
