Havenloft took a shaky breath, then nodded and followed the wolf to the edge of the camp. There, she saw a horrible sight. Blood was caked and dried around a big gash in the wolfs flank. The eyes were empty, staring at something far in the distance. *who did this?* Havenloft murmured, horrified at the prospect of danger so close to their dens.

"Listen, buddy," Erwinn said calmly. "We don't want a fight any more than you do. So why don't you make it easy for the both of us and leave?"

Though there was anger in her eyes, Erwinn spoke to the loner like a small pup. She did not let out the howl of frustration that itched her in throat.

"No.." She replied with tail between legs. "But I did see some feathers!" She said.

"What do you think we were trying to do?" He snapped as the white wolf seemingly coward beneath him. In reality the white man was protecting his mate, covering his neck in case there was an attack.
"C-can't we all get along? It was just a miss understanding after all and nothing more." His words died away in his throat though as a branch off to their right broke. He froze watching as the large bear came forward anger glinting in its eyes as it saw the pack of wolves in its territory. After that he saw nothing but feathers as the brown wolf covered him from the bear's claws. Hot blood splattered against his face as the larger wolf was struck down.

Erwinns's mouth opened in shock. She froze, not knowing what to do. Finally, with all the courage she could gather, Erwinn leapt forward, crashing into the bear. She stumbled, then regained balance, striking at the bear with sharp claws. The bear turned and swatted back, flinging Erwinn against a tree. She yelped in panic and fear. But that didn't stop her.

She leapt again with new determination. She she landed on top of the brown loner and scrambled off, then turning and snarling at the bear. Straining, Erwinn's heart quickened and she grew tired. A purple transparent shield formed in front of the wolves.

The bear struck the shield then backed away, paw zapping with electricity. Erwinn barked, but it was weak. The shield evaporated and Erwinn collapsed. Her head spun and she could see stars.

His thoughts swam, the pain in his shoulder and side blinding with each beat of his heart. Gritting his teeth the brown wolf forced himself to his feet, using a wing to prop himself up as he did. "You shouldn't have done that." The larger male wolf growled through gritted teeth. For a moment his eyes flash with a fiery light, his wings raising as he flapped them once. A wave of fire form from them, striking the bear as he used his power the smaller white wolf helping send the flames forward with a whip of wind. The animal cried out, fur and skin scorched under the heat of the fire. It clawed at its skin, falling to the ground as it desperately tried to make the pain stop. When not even that worked it scrambled away a bit turning to face the wolves once more before finally leaving. He stood for a moment more before his shaking legs collapsed under him, the power being draining enough on its own. Dexion hastily pushed him over, examining the wound. It covered most of his side, cutting deep into his shoulder and tapering as it went down his side.
"Oh no...no,no,no!" The white wolf cried as he panicked. What to do?! What could he do?! Some moss! And cobwebs could help! "S-stay here alright? I'll be right back to help you I swear!" He lifted his small wings in flight before fluttering off. When he returned he landed awkwardly, a mouthful of moss and paw wrapped with cobwebs. Hastily he placed the moss in the wounds, placing the cobwebs over them to hold them in place. He used his paws to hold pressure until the bleeding stop. "Don't you leave me too you hear me?" He said trying to hold back the sarrow in his voice.

Eclipse looked in shock. "No." he whispered. He rushed forward. "What can I help you with?" he asked the white wolf.

sorry i won't be able to be on the comp. i'm busy puking my guts out because i caught a stomach virus, still ping me though so i can catch up!!!!!!

He looked up sadly, ears back and tail low. "I-I don't know..." he said softly looking down at his mate. His paws and muzzle were stained red from blood and there was some splattered about on his forehead. "I just don't know..."

"Let me help," Erwinn growled. She shakily stood up. She pressed her paws against the wound as she applied pressure.

She knew how the smaller wolf felt.

"Go get some water," she told Dexion. "Please."

Erwinn licked around the wound, trying to clean it up. Stars still swarmed her vision.
