Ah, okay. What I sent you here was kind of your starting post. I'll add options on the end you can pick from if you want.

A wind was flowing into the Seville dock, splattering droplets of seawater onto the wooden port. You could see the ship the school had given you, named the Devil's Cove. It's sails were tied in and the wind looked stronger out at sea, facing towards Seville. You could see a few ships that were already out, most as small as yours, a few of which you could already tell were starting off pirates. The sun was seeping down though and the air was quite dry, you could still feel the heat, so the ocean wind was quite nice. You already had some supplies in your inventory, your ships storage was currently empty.

you could reply: She glanced side to side from the port official to the shipwright before striding forward, narrowing her eyes at other ships. She clicked her tongue and then boarded her own, "Get ready to sail" she snapped at the sailors, waiting for them to follow her orders.

(It's important if you do something liek this you don't control the sailors, you can't say 'and they immediately followed her order' you must say something like 'she waited for them to follow her order')

Some other ideas you can write out are
>> Exploring town
>> Heading towards one of the symbols on the map
>> Talk to someone
>> Look around
>> Investigate your ship
>> Set sail

I suggest quickly reading some RPGs pages near the middle and see whats going on.

Real Name: Thalia Alvin
Sailor's Name: Seabird
Age: 18 years old
Ship Name: Foam Flower

Image:

Personality: She is clever, creative, adventurous. She loves the sea and navigating since she's a child, and she also loves history and astronomy. She is kind, and loyal to her friends and her family. She is also manipulative, cunning, and is not afraid of breaking laws as long as she does not hurt anyone. She thinks that official laws are not always fair, anyway. She prefers to folllow her own code and rules. Even if she does not like to harm people, she would fight if someone attacks her.
She collects objects which have a historical value, as well as fossils and rocks. She can be greedy, but she is more interested by what she could buy with money than by money itself. She dreams of becoming a famous explorer and treasure hunter.

Backstory(optional): Thalia's father was a british historian, who fell in love with a Greek woman and married her. She is born in Greece, and grew up on Aegina, a small Island located near Athens. Many people on her mother part of the family where sailors or fishermen, and she learnt how to sail when she was young. Both her parents have some pirates ancestors, but they lived a long time ago and Thalia does know about them, but she does not know exactly how much pirate blood runs in her vein.
She always knew she wanted to join the school of exploring, and did it when she was old enough.

Blood Status: 25% pirate, 50% adventurer, 25% Civilian (civilian sailor)
Strengths: She knows a lot about navigation, she has good orientation and survival skills, and is a good swimmer. She is not easily manipulated.
Weaknesses: She is afraid of spiders, she can be obsessive and stubborn, she is materialistic.
Other: She has two nationalities, she is Greek but also British by descent.

Just a question
Are we allowed to let our OC's have pets? Like a horse, bird, dog, etc.?

No. If it was an RP, maybe yes. In RPGs you need to find things, you won't start off with them. Maybe later you you can get pets if you unlock the quest to get them, earn enough money and get a place they can live.

In Greece I think, since it's where she lives? (but UK is fine too if it's easier for you)

(Greece is fine ^^)

There was a strong breeze in Athens as you stood near the docks. The wind was coming in and through the town, bring the waves high up as they went across the wooden deck. The ships were bobbing up and down and the waves took them, tied to the side. you saw your own, The Foam flower, near the edge. In the distance, you heard the port official telling a travelling merchant the wind should calm down in less than an hour and the passage to Venice wouldn't be dangerous.
