I decide to try to wrap it in a leaf to stop the bleeding instead, the water might be poisoned

You try your best to get ahold of the other wolf's muzzle. After a few missed attempts, you manage to do so and bite down, hard. Its yelps are muffled. However, it claws your underbelly. What do you do?

I slashed the wolf's eyes, howling in pain. I will need treatment soon, but it would be better to have a packmate.

The steaming of the water seemed unnatural, so you instead found a stray leaf on the ground. You gently wrap it around your paw with your teeth. When you let go though, the leaf unfolds. What do you do?

You sniff the other wolf's muzzle. It allows you to do so, and sniffs you back. You have become acquainted with the wolf.
