Burnkit knew that Sunleap wasn't talking to her, but she couldn't help but reply. "Um- I'd like a story Sunleap!"

"A story!! Really!? Oh I love stories! Please tell!!!" says LeafKit excitedly. FallenStorm grins.
"Ok LeafKit, I'll leave you two alone." He winks at SunLeap.

(Sunleap) Sunleap chuckles in humor about Leafkit's excitement then lays down. "it was when before i had this scar. i was younger then and went on a hunting patrol with Ripplefur. then the bushes shook with growls of hunger. a badger, dark colors of night, teeth like thorns and black soulless eyes. it lunged at us with anger and hunger. we didn't know what to do, we were scrambling around like mice and then i slipped. it raised a paw in the air and slashed mere right here..." she lifts her leg to show the scar then continues "i wailed and saw Ripplefur climbing a tree, but he wasn't running away. he jumped up and down on a branch and the badger targeted him and walked to the tree with both paws on the tree and snapping at him. i ran into a hollow log then i hear a great snap. i peeked out and the badger was still with the branch resting on it's head and Ripplefur ran to me. we came back t camp and my wound healed, but i can never walk properly again. but i am more than thankful for Ripplefur, a hero in my eyes then soon my beloved mate" Sunleap sighs and says to the kits "if you EVER meet a badger, make sure to climb a tree, and don't do anything you might regret" she slightly nods and licks her paw and grooms her ears

"Woah." Burntkit said, her eyes wide. "I want to meet a badger someday! But when I do I'll beat it by climbing a tree, and then I'll be friends with it because it will realize how cool and strong I am!"

"I've heard that story a hundered times and it still makes me shiver." Crimsonpaw purred as he joined the kits. "Do you need help getting back to the elders den Sunleap?"

LeafKit's eyes widened. "A badger!? Wow! You're so brave SunLeap!!" LeafKit purred excitedly. "When I become a warrior, NeedleStar won't have to worry about badgers when I'm around!" He leapt up on his mothers back, determined to show them his moves.

(Sunleap) "I'll be good Crimsonpaw" Sunleap says then looks a Leafkit and whispers "i heard Needlestar is thinking of making you an apprentice tomorrow" she says then gets up and walks to the fresh kill pile and takes a mole and walks into the Elder den. she eats and remembers her becoming a warrior and having Needlestar.

LeafKit didn't know how to contain himself. "Really!? I've been waiting all my life! No more nursery for me!!" says LeafKit excitedly.

"Woah really?" Burntkit said, looking at Leafkit. "That's so cool! I can't wait 'till I'm an apprentice!"

LeafKit purrs,"I'm almost 6 moons. Tomorrow I'll turn. I can't wait! Don't worry BurntKit, you'll be an apprentice soon, then I won't be alone in the apprentice den."
