Jackie barricaded the door quickly, panting. "Now then." she stood up. "How are you guys holding up?" she looked around. "Should we barricade the other doors?" (Could we say they're in a section of the food court that's secluded?)

(Hmmm sure! I was just wondering cause at malls, they usually have these long bathrooms, like a corridor, that lead to them. Usually it's in/or near the food court :p)
