"A forest?" she asked"I love the forest!". DB started jumping up with joy then followed the group.

They came across a small cave. The smell of stale Lupora scent wafted out of it. Peeking her head in, Furnas spotted a dark shape. Quickly jerking her head back out, she whispered. "There's a Vulnyx in there, a single female, it seems."

Kane looks at Furnas surprised, " It was only about two days ago when I checked it. She must have came when I was away." He glances curiously to the cave mouth. " what do you think we should do?"

"We've got a strong team, we could scare her out or maybe..." she looked at him.

Kane nods" I agree, but there might be a underlying reason why shes here." he thinks aloud.

She nods. "We should wait her out, then question her. She seems to be asleep. We shouldn't be waking her up, that might seem hostile..."

Kane agreed " I agree with you, maybe one of us should wait while the others get food for tonight" nodding to the new members

I padded along behind them, lost in thought.

Suddenly, a small chirp echoes throughout the cave. A tiny Vulnyx cub with Tundra Fur pokes his head out to see the gang. Letting out a yelp of surprise, he yells, "Mother! There are Pirates! Mother!" his mother does not move.

Slowly I stepped forward towards the cub. "Hush little one. We do not want to harm you." As I said this, I creeped over to the mother, and touched her fur gently with my nose. I was checking if she was dead or not.
