Well, my username is a mix of my & my hubby's names. Actually his pet name for me, Sona, which literally means gold but can also be used to call someone precious & Ally is his nickname from his real name. I put the 2 together & deleted the extra 'a' between Sona & Ally to create Sonally.
Now though if I create a username it will be Sonallee to include first letters of our kids' name, both of which begin with 'E' :D

Wow you guys have such awesome backstories for your names. Mine isn't that creative, but I'll just share it anyways. (Btw great topic Nightbane. :3)
My username originated back from when I joined Pokefarm some......3-4 years ago. At first, I had no idea what I wanted as my name, so, my mind immediately went to my favorite Pokemon- Vulpix. However, I didn't want to be just Vulpix or LadyVulpix as that seemed too plain or posh. So I did my next best option....change 1 letter. xD
And thus, that is how Vulpie was born, and the name has stuck ever since. I've used this name on here, GPX Plus (Pokefarm but better imo), Felisfire, and Aywas. Now, I'm starting to create a backstory for her, so she's become something more than just a lazy flash of creativity.

i used to work at a magic the gathering shop (gasp oh what a nerd! XD)
and i was looking through the older cards my store sold and fell in love with the art
artwork done by Artist: Martin McKenna. It was just perfect and unique enough that nobody else really uses it

I guess its about time I post here...
Ok so the name Treetoes,
Once upon a time, at the age of 9, on another game site called neopets , my older sister used to play tons on that game(it was the golden age of neopets), one day I asked her to help me make an account, and this is how the conversation went (to the best of my memory):
Sister: 'What do you want your username to be?'
Me: 'Whats a username?'
Sister: 'Something everyone will call you, dont use your real name though. How about something with Tree since you like nature so much?'
Me: 'Uuuuh ok sure... kinda boring though...'
Sister: 'What if we added something to it then?'
Me: 'Like what?'
Sister: 'Hmm how about Treeleaf, or Treewalker, or Treehead, or hmm maybe Treehugger?'
(Glad I didnt go with that last one *rolls eyes*)
Me: 'No I dont like any of them...'
Sister: 'Fine, you think of something then'
Me: *I look down at my feet dangling over the chair I was sitting in* *I see my toes and wiggle them and think of tree roots*
Me: 'How about Treetoes?'
Sister: 'Hehehe I like it, and no one has it yet, so... ok account has been made! Now let me teach you about some of the stuff on here...'
*Flashback fades into black*
Aaaaannd scene! Thats a wrap everyone! Now you know the story of Treetoes.
Its sort of a username that has stuck with me over the years. I was probably the first person to ever make that username.
(I no longer have that account on neo btw)
