I agree with the scale-size problem. The proportion of scales to body is perfect on the babies, but on the adults, they look far too bulky - not to mention the adult male loses his tail scales from his childhood D:
I noticed this little thing while I was watching the speeddraw on youtube - the female hatchling's front right leg, farthest from us, seems to be missing a bit that should peek out from behind the inner bend of the left leg. It was in every sketch and the first try at lineart, it just somehow never made it to the final lineart and it makes it look disconnected to me *shrugs*

The adult female looks kinda like parts of her are trying to be 3/4 and others are trying to be profile-view? That's the best I can explain it. If the head was turned toward us so it fell into 3/4 view, the forward front leg's second joint (the wrist?) was pulled in a bit more towards the body, and the spine given a bit more curve after the shoulder going into the rump, it would flow a lot better for me, personally!
Kinda like this - though I tried to keep as close to the style used as possible and my redlines are more like greylines ^^"

EDIT: Second mouth version! ((apparently larger, my apologies @A@))
(I also have a tendency to go stocky and sturdy on hind legs, somewhere between the typical horse and a draft horse whoops)
(I'm no professional and I'm far from a horse expert (my first instinct was that the far front leg was off but a quick google image search proved that wrong) and these are far better equines than I draw the majority of the time, so Mochaspar's judgement will probably be better than mine here, though!)

This last one's just a nitpicky detail and isn't really anything to worry about - The adult male's leg fur all sticks up and looks a bit awkward to me, kinda like he's standing over a big fan or vent or something. I read it as a more static pose so it just kinda doesn't feel like it fits?

Overall, I really, really adore the revamp! Especially the hatchlings, I kinda wish there was some way to get, like, unbreedable 'pygmy pets' that keep their baby lineart just so I can gather a herd of these little ponies /)uwu(\

While-typing edit! I just saw Cloudsoda's redlines, which are wonderful! I just feel like having both adults' heads in a profile view along with the hatchling male is a bit much, so I'm throwing in a 3/4 view of the adult female (because she was the one that didn't quite work the most for me) Plus! 3/4 view head leaves more room for wings!

I like the new look! Great job drawing these.
I also agree with Cloudsoda on the lines, aside from the previous mentioned scale issue the angle of leg and fetlock to pastern to hoof is making me twitch. All and all I really like the new design. ( I spend too much time staring at hooves!)

I personally prefer 3/4 views like visionary drew, as opposed to profiles. I think it looks much more natural :o

The eye is a little far forward on the colt, but otherwise I am 100% excited for this. :D

I really hope they (the previewed designs) stay roughly the same, rather than get more gendered versions. A male and female from the same breed look roughly the same. Please do not change them to a my little pony thing (the males in mlp are drafts where the females are slender). D:

I think both Cloudsoda and Visionary had really good points..... I'm okay with a redo, but something about the angles on the female is bothering me. I think you should seriously consider taking some of their advice into account.

Honestly I don't do well with change. I like the way they were but these look pretty cool.....

Oh, wow, Vision--if the female's neck has to be turned, I hope it ends up looking the way you have it. Although I think the mouth, as you have it, needs adjusting a tiny bit. I realize you're intending to foreshorten her head, because of the angle at which we view her, but the mouth looks oversized rather than at a 3/4 angle.

Thinking about horses, goats, deer, etc., perhaps the mouth should not be a single smooth curve, but should have a slight obtuse angle? That could show the point at which we are no longer looking at the side of her mouth and are instead looking at the front. Just sort of thinking "out loud" here...

Their faces are a lot longer and I'd put a pun in here but...I'm afraid of getting yelled at For some reason the boy looks more like a smaller version of the adult rather than a baby of it. :s

Thank you! I usually draw pony mouths more like what's shown below, and I'll add a bigger version of it to my initial post, but I was trying to emulate the style of the original on the first~

the male looks fierce and L'oreal fabulous! lol.

The female one.. i'm not sure? I dont know if its because of the pattern used on it either but something seems a bit off.

edit: visionary's version of the female looks sooo pretty. =o a new filly out to steal apples from the apple orchard.
