The weavers are shy, but polite. Not many of them seem like they know English, but they can tell from his tone how he's feeling, and pointing to stuff generally is enough for them to know what he means.

The weavers can see that. Theyre trying their best to be nice back, theyre just inherently shy and a little wary of strangers.

They appreciate it. They cant really help being shy- its just sorta how weavers are.

They watch from a distance. On a few occasions they caution him away from plants, and on one occasion a wasp that had freed itself, but they otherwise dont get involved.
