Soon, the hole was halfway filled and the combined efforts of Lint and Kall got Claudio out. "Bless the gods!" Lint cried. "I thought you were a goner!"

Kall pushed all the dirt into the hole so that no one else could fall into it.

Suddenly, Lint groaned. Her stomach had already swollen to twice its usual size.

Kall ran over to her "What's wrong?!" he asked, more worried than when Claudio fell into the hole. Picking Lint up, he ran to the cave and pulled her in. Setting her on the bed, he saw the squirming shapes in her stomach.

Lint's eyes grew wide, and she licked Kall's nose.
