(My mom does mostly the same. She often says 'Can you please go get me some tea?' and if I go and try and do something before or instead, she's like 'I told you to get me some tea'. That I understand, but other times she'll say 'Do you wanna come or do you wanna stay with your father here ?' and then I'll say 'I'd like to stay' and she'll say 'Come on, hurry up and get ready to go'. Then later on I'll explain to her that she gave me a choice but then she'll be like 'I did? Oh, I'm sorry. You don't have a choice.')
