He had popped a piece of bread in his mouth and was about to swallow when he heard 'reretfully former lover. Due to the immense shock, he chocked on the piece of bread. Once he was composed he looked at both of them and said.

Xolia turned to Temorin. " It's nothing important, Temorin. Carlisle didn't mean to bring up the long past. "

Carlisle just shrugged. " What do you mean? You guys are married. He'll have to learn eventually. "

"No, the part about 'best intrest.' If you have her 'best intrest at heart' then why would she ever end things with you in the first place. Xolia is an intelligent and responsible girl as I am sure you know. I feel as though she wouldn't end things without a good reason. Not only this, but perhaps, seeing as how she has been somewhat made uncomfortable by this, consider showing her 'best intrest' and some respect by refraining to mention it. Temorin had a bit of emotion to let out, but he did it all in poised and elegant manner. He had gone on a bit of a rant, but only because he cared. Had it been anyone else, he would have kept his mouth shut. Just not with Xolia. She seemed to make everything different.
